Hey everybody. Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the New Boston Tea Party on Tax Day. It is starting to get very big. It is being co-sponsored by GOPMom.com, Conservative Solutions and the SovereigntyAlliance with help from Tea Party Day and Tax Day Tea Party.

If you want to find out more about the event, we are on Facebook, Twitter and we have a new Ning site set up for organizers, volunteers and attendees to learn, share and work together to make this a huge event. (Right now we are expecting between 2000 and 3000 people.) We know it can and WILL be bigger.

We are going to start at 11:00 am at the Massachusetts State House. We have speakers lined up and are adding more daily. We are also working with one of the local Boston talk radio stations to sponsor the event at the State House and broadcast live throughout the event.

We plan to march en masse to Christopher Columbus Park near Boston Harbor site of the original Boston Tea Party around 3:30 pm for another event from 4-6pm co-sponsored by another local talk radio channel. (More on that later.)

The Main Stream Media may try to ignore us. That is why we will be broadcasting over the internet via Conservative Solutions TV, and our Blog Talk Radio Channel. We will be talking about the event over the next two weeks on both so check back often for show schedules.

The organizers of the highly successful Orlando Tea Party have some great hints and suggestions at this link for a successful Tea Party Event.

Now we are hearing that organizers are having permitting issues. Eric Odom of Tax Day Tea Party and www.RootsHQ.com has some advice on that. We are experiencing the same thing. But that is NOT going to stop us!

If you can help with a few bucks, $5, $10, $25 please click here to DONATE. We will be using the money for the cost of a permit, insurance, banners, signs, fliers etc.

Whether we have permits, insurance a banner or a button we are going to be there in the thousands! Please plan to attend and to invite your friends, family and co-workers.

We are also asking people to bring non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank. We want to send the message to government that we don’t need welfare when committed individuals are willing to help those in need!

We need:

Volunteers to download or create a flier to help us publicize the event.

Spend an hour at a local T-Stop or Commuter Rail Station and hand out fliers.

Some attorneys or law students to surround the event to discuss with any police or state troopers to shut us down.

Volunteers to help clean up during and after the events.

Graphic Designers to create designs for T-Shirts, Banners Etc.,

People to create signs and banners.

Much more to come. If you have any other ideas, please e-mail me.

I will be definitely be there. In terms of media, I'm sure you've got the usual talk radio guys (Jay Severen, Howie Carr, etc.) but there are other radio personalities that will be sympathetic to our cause, and if not attending will probably give us publicity. I'm thinking in particular of Greg Hill from the Hillman morning show on WAAF, and the guys from the Dennis and Callahan from the WEEI morning show. Any one else have any suggestions?

Very intriguing concept. The question in my mind is, what are the mechanics of repealing the 16th Amendment and instituting the 28th & 29th Amendments. I believe the concepts of "interposition' and "nullification" should be applied, thereby puttin...
